Professional Training

We embrace a culture of learning and believe continuing education is critical to our success. We invest more than 100 hours per year into above-industry-standard training and professional development. Our education and apprenticeship program combines both classroom training and hands-on experience further developing our skills.  

In addition, our principals complete more than 48 hours per year of professional education. Their education is focused on construction and building, with an emphasis on current code requirements, industry best practices, and design calculations. 

Finally, our team continually studies new building science research, as well as innovative installation techniques, processes and best practices to refine our offerings and how we do business.

Professional Licenses

  • Master Electrical License – (#OK00213552)
    Requires passing a certifying examination with knowledge of single phase, three phase systems, services, feeders, branch circuits, multi-wire circuits, electrical load calculations, plan reading, ampacity calculations, conduit sizing, box selection, and wiring methods. In order to maintain the credential, jurisdictions require the completion of ongoing continuing education in the National Electric Code (NEC). License permits us to perform unlimited electric work 
  • Master Plumbing with Gas License – (#OK00213552)
    Requires passing a certifying examination with knowledge of drain, waste, and vent plumbing, gas pipe sizing, water supply line sizing, water heaters, combustion ventilation, plan reading, plumbing methods, and plumbing fixtures and fittings. In order to maintain the credential, jurisdictions require the completion of ongoing continuing education in the Uniform Plumbing Code (UPC) or International Plumbing Code (IPC), and International Fuel Gas Code (IFGC). License permits us to perform unlimited plumbing services including gas piping.
  • Master Mechanical License – (#OK00213552)
    Requires passing a certifying examination with knowledge of gas, oil, and wood-burning heating equipment, chimneys, vents, ducts, plumbing, electrical, and codes applying to these applications. Maintaining the credential requires the completion of ongoing continuing education in the International Mechanical Code (IMC), International Fuel Gas Code (IFGC), and ACCA standards for refrigeration and ductwork. License permits us to perform unlimited Heating, Ventilation, Air-Conditioning (HVAC), mechanical, and refrigeration services.
  • Advanced On-site Waste Treatment System License – (#MO 37705)
    Requires passing two certifying examinations with knowledge of soil morphology, topography, systems layout, plumbing hydraulics and pneumatics, pumps, basic system design, installation and maintenance, and advanced system configurations, applications, and installation. Maintaining the credential in the state of MO requires the completion of a minimum of 8 hours of continuing education in private sewer and septic systems, components, and controls annually. License permits us to perform design, installation, repair, and maintenance on private on-site waste systems to include septic tanks, lateral fields, lagoons, low pressure and high-pressure drip systems.
  • On-site Waste Treatment System Inspector License – (#MO 51268)
    Requires passing two certifying examinations with knowledge of system components, tools and testing procedures, mathematics and calculations, as well as advanced techniques such as hydraulic tests and dye tracing methods. Maintaining the credentials in the state of MO requires the completion of a minimum of 8 hours of continuing education in private sewer and septic systems, components, and controls annually. License permits us to perform state inspections or evaluations of all septic systems.
